  1. Hi Mr. Karimloo

I’m just writing to you to tell you how much you have inspired me to keep positive through my many medical issues. I’m a 13 year old girl from right beside your hometown of Newmarket, Ontario and I have suffered through heart disease since I was a baby. I was diagnosed with congenital heart failure as a baby and I have had 4 open heart surgeries that did not work and a heart transplant 12 years ago.

I have been living with my new heart very well, but I am immunosuppressed, which causes me to get sick all the time. During this Covid-19 pandemic, I am especially scared for my health. It’s hard to live with heart disease, but I manage to make it work. It’s scary sometimes, but my Dad always tells me to try to find things that help me stay positive. That is when I discovered ‘The Phantom’ from my hometown.

I bought the ‘Phantom of the Opera – 25 Anniversary Edition DVD” about 2 years ago and it has been so inspiring and uplifting for me. When I fell down or depressed, I turn on the Phantom and a smile immediately comes to my face. Listening to your voice and performance lifts my spirits and helps me stay positive. You are an incredible talent and I think that it is cool that you went to high school right near my home town. During this Covid-19 outbreak I think I have watched your ‘ Phantom’ about 20 times.

I follow you and Sierra Boggess on Instagram and Facebook and I saw your live stream with ‘The Heart Foundation’. Thank you so much for supporting my cause and all the other people who suffer from heart disease.

Anyway, I’m just writing to you to say thanks. You help me to stay strong and positive and I know that when I feel down, all I have to do is listen to my ‘Hometown Phantom’ and I feel so positive and just great!.

    Thank You
