1. Dear Jackie,
   First I would like to say I am a big fan of yours seeing you on Around the Horn and listening to your comments on the Windhort podcast. I would like to question your stance on the issue of older NBA coaches being allowed to coach during the upcoming games. Basically, what I hear you saying is that the coaches who are in better physical shape have a stronger immunity system than younger people who are not in as good physical shape. I don’t know if this is true. Initially, I was less worried about contracting the virus because I think I’m in excellent shape. I’m seventy-one years young, can do seventy-five push ups in one set and weight seven pounds more than I did in high school. I make a point of doing some kind of physical activity six days a week. Early when the virus was first started spreading I came across a report that said that your immunity system is as old as your biological age. The take I got from the article is not to kid my self believing that I’m not as vulnerable to the virus just because I look good and feel good for my age. Please let me know if your thoughts are based upon a medical perspective or are you sharing your personal opinion. What you say to your audience matters and can affect the way they look at their situation. Take care and be safe. Tom
